But his comfortable existence is soon disrupted with the arrival of the wizard Gandalf and a company of dwarves. He is soon caught up in an adventure of epic proportions. The Hobbit is a beloved classic and is the precursor to the High Fantasy genre, and is a wonderful book to introduce to your children.

The Harry Potter book series is a wondrous book series and it would be tantamount to a crime, not to share it with your kids.
