Not only are you supposed to have a multi-faceted book marketing strategy that will help you enhance your book’s circle of influence. You will also need to be prepared for any eventuality that may come your way. One such eventuality is the effects that time differences in other countries may have over your book. The difference in time zones will have a great effect on your book’s sales. This is because the smallest details may change how your book marketing campaign goes. Here are reasons why time zone differences affects the book marketing process.

Although you may have a thriving fan base in your own country it may not be the same in other countries. If you are conducting a social media campaign remember that if you advertise your work in another country, you should follow their time line and not your country’s. Because if you use your country’s timeline you may find your prospective audience asleep and all your book promotion will all come to naught.

When you sell a book there will be a multitude of factors to follow if you want your book marketing campaign to thrive. One especially important factor is timing. When you promote a book it is important that you time everything right. Your book release should be timed right. This is also important if you are planning on releasing your book internationally. Remember that there are different timelines in other countries. So if you are from the states and you are thinking of promoting or releasing your book in Japan, remember that there is a significant time difference to take account of. Minor details such as these can affect your book sales a great deal.
